Banana Bread

I can't say that I always have time to make a pompous and complicated dessert, so I turn to these kind of simple recipes. If you have some ripe bananas and want to make a delicious and quick dessert, this recipe is exactly what you were looking for.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of ground flax seeds and 6 tablespoons of water - egg substitute

  • 4 medium ripe bananas

  • 80 ml vegetable milk

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 100 g of sugar

  • 250 g of flour

  • 7 g baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • pinch of salt

  • 70 g chocolate chips

  • 50 g walnuts

  • 1 banana - for decoration

  • almond flakes - for decoration

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

  2. Mix 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed and 6 tablespoons of water in a small bowl and set aside.

  3. In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork; pour over the milk, vinegar, vanilla essence, and sugar. Mix everything well.

  4. Add the rest of the dry ingredients - flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt powder - and mix well.

  5. Pour the mixture of flax and water.

  6. Add the chocolate chips and finely chopped walnuts to the mixture.

  7. Place baking paper in a cake pan and pour the mixture.

  8. Cut a banana in half and place both pieces on top, and sprinkle with flaked almonds.

  9. Place the cake in the oven for 45-50 minutes. Test the cake with a toothpick, if it comes out clean, then it is ready.

  10. Let it cool for about an hour before serving.
